I called the hotline in NY and in CA and they seem to not be very helpful. Although, they are going to look up the NY statute of limitations and call me back. What happened to me was 11 years ago, so I guess that is too long to finally come forward and do anything, or receive counseling or emotional support. I have gotten better support with the couple comments I received on here. It would have been nice to have someone to talk to, even if it has been a long time. I kept it hidden for many years and oly recently have even allowed myself to think about what happened to me. I guess I decided to start dealing with that situation a bit too late.
