A few weeks ago, my hair elements test came back. It was Day 39 of iodine supplementation (second round) at the time I cut my hair for the test, and I was detoxing quite heavily. But I had mostly stopped sweating "acid" except on my hands and arms. My hands are still in a place that no hands should be!
When I received the results, I followed Cutler's rules and determined I was mercury toxic despite the abnormal levels for the supplemented essential elements. I also thought that the levels of toxic metals were a concern as several were above the 68th percentile, or in the yellow zone. Now knowing more about toxic metals, I'm worried that my case is more serious than I thought initially. For instance, based on posts in Cutler's Yahoo group, a result of 0.091 ug/g for arsenic is pretty rare. Could anyone provide their input on the results?
The essential elements that are significantly high and not supplemented are: calcium, lithium, phosphorus, and strontium. One thing of certainty is that the results showed a sodium-potassium ratio completely out of balance. Integrating potassium chloride into my salt should be addressing this and has, I believe, made me less itchy overall. I've also gone back to eating at least one banana a day. :)
