This is a ridiculous message; there is absolutely no evidence in this article that they "don't work". Just evidence that the water changes color with our without feet, WHICH WE ALL ALREADY KNOW! It's NOT ABOUT the water color! ACK!
I had a mastectomy and 13 lymph nodes removed, two of which were positive for cancer. A couple of months later I began to suffer from "cording" which happens as a result of the lymph pathways, after becoming disrupted and severed from the removal of the nodes, become tight. They were actually visible and swollen, like little raised lines on my arm and under my arm and most especially in the underside of my wrist if I flexed it. I became alarmed as this is a precursor to lymphedema which is irreversible and a lifelong condition. It was very painful and debilitating.
My nutritionist did a couple of footbaths just as a general detox (I hadn't mentioned the cording issues to him). I didn't think about it helping the cording pain and restricted movement in my arm. I couldn't even straighten my wrist or hold my arm out in front of me.
After the first footbath, the cording disappeared that same week. I have not suffered from it since then. I didn't do anything different that week that I had any other week.
I don't buy into all the miraculous claims of these ionic footbaths, I only know my OWN experience with it, and I resent someone coming on here and claiming that they don't work when there are stories that they DO benefit people. Unless you've walked a mile in someone's shoes who's suffered from a serious disease, injury or pain and has found relief, how dare you come on here and discourage people from finding a method of healing.
Anyone who is so closed minded as to say something like this flat out is "useless" should just be ignored, and to post an article like this as "evidence" is just ridiculous.
