After reading the original post I have been leaving selenium out of my protocol. How does one know what to do? I do not have the finances to remove my fillings right now. And yes I do realize leaving them in could mean more medical issues & finances chasing after new syndromes down the road, but I can't do it right now. Maybe Iodine is not safe for those with Amalgams who should not take selenium? Or is it hype that selenium really is that dangerous? Other than going to school to become a scientist is there any real conlusive way of knowing whether I will or wont harm myself in taking selenium? I am one month in on 50mgs of Iodine daily. Will be starting chinese bitters & coptis once my mentrual cycle ends. I know it takes time and am really holding out in hopes that Iodine will help me. I do not feel very well at all yet....
