Not intending to precipitate argument, but I disagree on several fronts with what the writing states. Quickly, the author leaves "amalgam metals" undefined. Clearly they don't mean mercury alone, else metals would not been used in the plural form. Amalgam metals typically include Cu, yet Cu is an essential mineral. So are we asked to believe that Se, an essential mineral, causes irreversible harm when it encounters Cu, another essential mineral ? I'd continue, but am crippled in one hand at present.
Cancer sufferers are typically deficient in Se, it could be that the cancer industry promoters benefit if ppl cease acquiring necessary levels of Se, and a campaign against Se would surprise me no more than the recent campaign I've seen against Vit. D, for the same reason.
keep in mind that Se is part of glutathione peroxidase, the body's main component necessary for removal of mercury from the body (esp. in those low in iodine), and this writing makes even less sense.
