Leads me to this question though....

Methionine over time will increase homocysteine. TMG converts HCY to SAMe, so would taking Methionine in combination with TMG be the best bet seeing as the Meth would provide more HCY for the TMG to in turn convert to SAM-e in the body?

Keep in mind that methionine is not necessarily going to raise homocysteine for a few reasons.  First of all the homocysteine can be converted back in to methionine by methylation from TMG or other methylators as well as methionine synthase.  Secondly, methionine is used for other purposes in the body such as the production of creatine or simply broken down.

If you want to further reduce homocysteine then I recommend adding B₆, folate and B₁₂ sources to your diet or supplements to help with the methylation process.
