I've heard it said that deficiency of Iodine in the USA is quite rare, and, at least for my body, this seems to be the case. Just a few days ago I put too much kelp into my soup and got palpitations from it. Too much kelp has given me insomnia many times. It usually fades away fast. It may be a good idea we both do NOT take kelp at all.
