Excellent work Remi! I don't often hang around this forum but this thread really caught my interest. I certainly had my share of candida in the past but never really focused on it too much.
I too had been chronically sick for many, many years. I got really fed up 3 yrs ago and started making many changes.
Today I am better then I have ever been. You can click on my avatar if you want to see the lengths I went to in order to get well. But all I can say is that feeling great is so much better then any piece of cake or glass of wine.
I am surrounded by people who are not interested in taking back their health. So sad to watch people go down. It is so true that people just won't listen to others who have overcome the same problem. I like to return so I can give a little back to those who are still suffering.
It is frustrating to try and help sick people who are only interested in doing the same old thing over and over expecting a different result. Yes the definition of insanity.
I really think the hardest thing for most is to change their diet. Most would do anything except give up their bread, muffins, etc, etc. Most of us are food addicts.
I myself love to listen to the ones who have had great success. Saves me lots of wasted time, energy and most often money. The problem is they don't often stick around because they are out living the good life.
Attitude is so important. I tell myself each day that I am healing. The body follows the mind.
I also feel very privileged to eat an organic diet which is about 80% fruit and veg, with the remaining 20% chicken, fish, beef, nuts, olive oil, coconut oil.
When I was sick I used to cry Why Me? Now I cry Why not Me?
It is so empowering to take back your life after being chronically sick!!
Blessings to all!
