Anyone here familiar with Ray Peat and his research? Been reading a lot of his work lately. It goes against the grain and im having a hard time finding anyone to discuss his topics. Everyone just says sugar kills.

I used to have a low body temp and was supplementing iodine to help regulate it, i did help a bit, went from 96's to low 97's. But since upping my sugar intake i have made it in to the 98's. Now im not talking about cans of pepsi which dont have sugar, they have high fructose corn syrup. Sugar is a disaccharide (glucose and fructose). Been eating more fruit, quality ice cream, organic molasses etc.

Here's a quote from Ray,

"Thyroid, saturated fats, gelatin, progesterone, pregnenelone, aspirin, B vitamins, coconut oil, fruit, root vegetables, sucrose, and salt are essential to restore the body's natural defences"

Here's another interesting article
