That's right lolite. I am in a severe hypothyroid state. I believe I have been since I was like 7 years old when my parents got divorced. Stress causes more reverse T3 to occur. My free T3 to reverse T3 ratio is an 8, and according to Valerie this is a very serious level. So I need to get stable temps, which HC has failed to do for me, and once those stable temps are accomplished, say with Medrol for example, then i can raise my T3 med (Cytomel) and the hypothyroid state will diminish. This in turn will relieve stress in the body, and the weaning will probably begin at some point thereafter.
