Does anyone know if DE is still effective if it is mixed into food instead of water? In this case I am mixing it into some Hummous and spreading it on toast. I cant take it in water as it gives me really bad kidney pain but when mixed in food it doesnt seem to irritate my kidneys as much but dont no if it is bound up in the hummous whether it will still be effective or not?
