Our body is not meant to be too alkaline. Being too alkaline can cause constipation. Start taking megadoses of alkaline minerals and see how your bowel movements become. Been there done that. Thats one of the major reasons why im on this forum now is that my intestines were too alkaline causing me indigestion+constipation.  Friendly bacteria creates acid compounds (acetic acid, butryric acids etcc to push the bowels out of your colon. If our colon is always too alkaline it interupts this process disturbing the natural process of the friendly bacteria. There is a reason why mothers milk has a perfect ph of 7. Not too alkaline not too acidic!

Fungus and mold like an alkaline environment. Most molds and fungus will grow in an alkaline medium rather than an acidic medium. Do a test and put mold in alklaline water vs water with acid in it and see what medium it grows faster in.

  Yeast can convert into fungus. Yeast do not have rhiziod roots like the fungal form does.  Low levels of Candida "Yeast" do not harm humans until it transforms into the harmful "fungal" form. when it transforms into the fungal form it grows roots into intestines and makes your life a living hell. A  Lot of anti-fungal compounds are "acidic" ....Caprylic "acid"   Fatty "acids"   Ascorcic "acid" " Butyric "acid "  Undeconeic "acid"  -(sf722)etccc.....
