Alkaline water and spring water did not agree with me. Seemed like the minerals in it were to hard to digest. Especially someone with compromised digestion. I just do purified water. Also Ive heard that Candida "fungus" thrives in a alkaline environment. Whereas Candida "yeast" form Likes an acidic environment. Thats Why "acid"dophilus produces acid compounds to prevent the candida yeast to turn into the harmful fungal form. Acidophilus means "Lover of Acid" !

Alkaline Water not recommended for people with systemic fungal candida.
