I'm 5'7". When I started this 40-day fast I weighed in at 190lbs. My ending weight was 149. You're generally going to lose an average of one pound per day. You start of losing a lot in the first two weeks, but towards the end of the fast your weight loss of one pound per day tapers off. All in all, you will average one pound per day for the entire fasting period; however.

For me it was not about the weight loss, although that was an added bonus. For me it was a very personal, two-fold purpose, which I will keep private.
