{{{{{{{{{Dan}}}}}}}}}

Bless your heart! I don't think you realize how much you are loved here.

Dan, do you know how many people I have read here that say "you inspire me, dude?" You have the sweetest, most positive spirit and attitude. You're like the Energizer Bunny. You go and go and go. You're still here, despite all the nasties you've been blowin' out your yang yang.

Here you are, a college student, living in a dorm situation, which is totally *not* cool for doing what you're doing. You've given up some wild Spring Break in order to do this. You're trying to keep up with classes, and soon it's going to be finals time.

I know how you feel. I know what it's like to feel alone. Seriously, who does this? Who is even brave enough to do this? Yet you are doing it. You're doing it because you have a huge "why," and I know what it is. And there is no better "why" than that.

I know what it feels like to do this alone, and to do it with hardly any support, and to sacrifice a lot in order to do it, and to totally be in the dark trusting some wackos on the internet.

It's OK to cry sometimes. It's OK to feel exhausted, and to share your feelings honestly. I know sometimes guys don't feel comfortable sharing their feelings, but we ladies are all about feelings. They are real, legit, and "there." They aren't wrong, they are just there.

Healing can be soooo crazy. You never know what's going to come up. Did you know the liver is the seat of the emotions? It's perfectly normal to have some emotions come up when you're doing healing work. I used to hide my emotions all the time, because I was doing what I thought was "expected" of me. But that's not healthy. It took me a long time to have good emotional flow. Now I think I need to pull back some, but you learn balance, as with everything else.

It's not a vicious cycle, Dan, it really isn't. It's just disheartening, because you don't know when it's going to be over.

You're a winner and a champion, Dan. Everybody here senses that. You're a great guy, and a sweetheart.

It's going to be OK.
