Hi! Firstly i just wanted to introduce myself. I am new here, and i Just started my fast yesterday. :) I am a 24 year old female and i want to fast to detoxify and hopefully help some underlying health issues i have been having. I just want to feel good and healthy again, i know that fasting doesnt cure everything but im going to give it a shot to be as healthy as i can be! I wouldnt mind losing a few pounds in the process as i gained a few this winter. So we will just call that a perk ;) And also if this helps me to become more spiritual then that would be great too. I will take whatever i can from this experience. i have heard mostly nothing but good things from fasting. I have decided that i am not going to fast on a set # of days. I am going to do it til my body says im ready to quit. I want to detoxify as much as i can.I quite smoking and drinking a few weeks ago! :) proud of myself for that. Heres my 1st question... what are the worst symptoms some of you have had during a fast? I have read up about them on the internet but i want to hear from people doing it right now. And what are some of the best experiences that you have had on a fast? i know everyone is different and no one has the same experience but i cant help but wonder what you all are experiencing :) So yeah this is day #2 and i actually feel pretty good which is odd. I have been drinking 8 bottles of water a day, and i woke up weak this morning but got better throughout the day. Also got a little dizzy a couple times but other than that im good. Can anyone give me any pointers? Sorry this was so long. lol, i am a talker. thanks in advance to everyone. Hope your all having a good day!!
