thanks for the link on do it yourself lab testing. That was exactly what I was looking for. They have a test called MM GI EFFECTS. Is this metametrix ? sure sounds like it. When I called metametrix they sent me a list of clinicians but indicated that I could not order my own testing.

also to the original poster. Fiber menace is about NOT using supplemental fiber as the author ( and myself) believe it is not helpful to someone with chronic constipation, and can potentially make the situation worse. Check out the book reviews on amazon. I have never seen so much positive anectdotal reporting.
