Dr. Christopher had his LBB- Lower Bowel Balance and used it for all of his patients "forever." Dr. Schulze was really frustrated with it (probably for his own case), and developed his IF (intestinal formula) #1 and #2. It is a much stronger colon cleanse. It will seriously "git 'er dun."

If I'm reading your question right, you are asking if you could switch out one herb for another in the formulas. I don't think that would be wise. I've studied every single herb in IF #1 and 2 and understand exactly how each herb works in tandem with each other. If you mess with the formula/recipe, you may get different results than what you really want.

Now, the true answer may be "it depends on what you want to switch out." For that, you'd best ask Uny. :) I know some herbs, but I don't know all of them.
