In that case, it may help you. With candida, and environmental illness in general, it's common to be intolerant (delayed hypersensitive) of yeast, foods, and other chemicals, which is not related to igE levels. With high igE levels, you could, no doubt, benefit from the help of a good allergist.
Chronic inflammation, whatever the source, is a very bad thing, so I think you're on the right track.
Also, I hate to say it, but meat, particularly pork and beef, as well as egg yolks can cause inflammation in people sensitive to arachidonic acid, or with a high ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 fatty acids.
Finally, I just want to underscore the difference between an allergy and an intolerance/delayed hypersensitivity as they are often referred to synonymously, yet they are very different phenomena. Allergies involve an igE mediated immune response, are rapid, and can be extreme. Intolerances have a much slower onset, are not igE mediated and can be difficult to sort out.
