It might but every 3 hours seems to maintain chelator levels quite well so it is more of a convenience thing since there really is no need to go more often than every 3 hours. Some people find they do better with more frequent dosing but the majority have no problems with every 3 hours. I wouldn't even try it unless you found low doses at every 3 hours to be intolerable it may be something to consider.
