Thanks for clearing it up. This could be very valuable.

I suppose if an food creates a stress on your body, your adrenal glands will try to kick out more adrenaline, which will speed up your pulse.

I would imagine the pulse change might be a little subdued since our fight or flight reaction is a little weak now.

How big of pulse changes did you see?
