A typical/small dose of a tincture has about the same amount of alcohol as a very ripe banana, so a 2-dropper dose shouldn't cause you any problems.

If you feel like it does, then there's an easy answer...just put the tincture in the bottom of a glass, splash it with boiling water and the alcohol will evaporate :)

There's a lot of folks taking enough tincture where the alcohol DOES matter...and when alcohol matters, it's easiest to just make "one dose ahead". That way one dose will always be sitting on the counter (having already been splashed with boiling water) - and the alcohol will be evaporating off even further, and it'll be cool and ready to ingest by the time it's time for another dose. So rather than "make the dose, take the dose", they should "take the dose" (already made on the counter) and then "make a dose" (by adding the boiling water) for taking later.

Good question!
