I know what you mean by the smell thing. I broke a 10 day fast once cause I couldn't stand the taste of my own bad breath, and everything smelt so strong, I hated getting on the subway and smelling everyone's breath. Made me want to vomit. Don't know what you can do because it's natural side effect of fasting. Your senses become heightened during fasting. It goes away as soon as you start eating again.
