From this article, it appears the ADA workshop in 1994 resulted in a recommendation of zero fluoride for infants aged 0 - 6 months.

Yet, I seem to recall seeing in the store in the past couple years, a gallon of water that was fluoridated and seemed to be intended for infant formula !!
Babies suck about 4 ounces of milk, every three hours for a daily total of about a liter. so if ya used that store-bought F water in the formula, the babe would get 1 milligram of F per day, or 30 milligrams a month. If the babe weighs 10 kg after the first month, then their little body would contain 3 ppm of fluoride by weight, distributed in the bones, pineal, etc. assuming no elimination.
Are babies kidneys developed enough to eliminate fluoride ? I doubt it, I bet if one looks they can find that the female body has a mechanism in it that ensures breast milk is all but fluoride-free, even though the woman's serum F level may be higher - i.e., mother nature has in place a way to keep the F out of the milk.
Any thoughts on putting F into infants formula ?
My understanding is there is no recognized need for fluoride, and that it is a well-known neurotoxin and enzyme poison.
