I heat my distilled water and "seed" with cs before hooking up my silver wires to my 9v (I use 8). I end up with a nice yellow product, quicker, that shows a nice red laser line with my laser pointer. I filter through unbleached coffee filters to pour off any larger particles.

In fact, I just brewed up 32oz today to replenish my supply.
