WOW How good to hear someone else is dealing with the same thing. My eyes are the worst symptom that brings on additional anxiety. I have had blurred vision, double vision (Ghosting vision) Floaters (more then before and all of a sudden) White dots, lights flashing. My eye prescription changed from -.25 in each eye to -1 in the matter of 5 mths. Then back down to normal. One pupil larger then the other. Dry irritated eyes, now my newest symptom is sinus pain. I have ask to get my merina to be taken out, I might have to wait 4 months since the doctor that put it in is too busy. I might ask my doc to refer me out of town to get it taken out earlier. This is driving me crazy, I have been to the optometrist 6 times and the opthalmolgist once. Nothing wrong with my eyes they say. I have got everything done, mri of the brain and optic nerve, ct scan, blood test. Normal, normal, normal. Its been a rollercoaster ride, never thinking it could be my IUD. Last draw, its not really reasuring to hear you don't see improvement after 10mths. I do hope there is relief somewhere, I find it better the days I don't have anxiety. Seems like I can deal with it alot better, but the days I have anxiety with the symptoms I can't function properly. I get depressed and don't want to even leave the house. Its sucks cause our eyes are always with us and hard to ignore.
The last eye doc i saw did admit that hormone imbalance can cause our eyes to fluctuate even a pupil to dialate larger then the other. Not usual symptoms but it could happend. He didn't say it could cause floater and I did ask. But who knows cause there isn't much study on floaters and why some people get it more then others. I never had a floater before and since having mirena for almost 4 years I got my first one 2 years ago and now I have 3 in one( Plus white floaters) and 1 in the other (Which I don't see yet) but they saw it on the retinal scan. ITs a scary thought about it affecting our eyes so much. I hope things get better for you and please keep me posted on how you are improving, cause I know you can't get worst with it out only get better. Might take awhile but I am optomistic that we can all return to normal after this..
