Unfortunately, there are many experts who say they "know" the truth.

Sometimes I think I know the truth about something, until my husband proves me wrong :)

The one thing that raised a red flag in your post was where he said to use baking soda. My intuitive feeling is that I wouldn't put that into my body.

There are many points of view in the world. The way I see it, the challenge is to not get distracted and to keep doing the most good we can in our own lives.
