I have used standardized milk thistle extracts in capsules as well as in tincture form. The turmeric I use is in bulk powder form. I just add it to water and drink it down because I could never get a therapeutic dose just by eating it with food as it would completely ruin the taste of my food. I'm lucky to have a nearby health food store that sells pretty much every herb known to man in bulk. With the olive leaf I buy the whole herb (their supplier is Mountain Rose Herbs) and I fresh grind it in my coffee grinder just before use.
