Hi- I think I've been one of the lucky ones in that I appear to have recovered really well since removal 16 months ago. I suffered all of your symptoms, plus many many more, during the two and a half years I had the Mirena and have detailed all my side effects on this site before.
After removal I started feeling better within 24 hours and gradually most of my side effects have gone, although I'm finding it hard to shift the weight I gained! Occasionally around the time of my period I feel a bit groggy or have the old familiar pains, but it doesin't last. All I've done is take multi-vitamins containing magnesium and potassium and drink loads of water.It may be worth you asking to keep the removed Mirena in case you decide to get it tested or take the matter further in the future?
