(Swanson's) HCL w/ pepsin + Now plant enzymes cured my Chronic severe constipation! I can eat protein finally after 5 years of suffering and wondering when my next BM would be? No more.

I also believe that reduced meal size and no snacks in between meals, and reduction in total food intake played a role - makes sense not to load the digestive system down.

I also increased dietary fat consumption. You might want to check out "Fiber Menace" by Konstantine M. Dietary fiber supplements are not helpful, even dangerous for people with chronic constipation!

I can't argue all the science. But then others cannot argue with success. And it did work, thank Heavens.
