Thank you for sharing this Spud. I was wondering if Vitex and Maca could be taken together.

I tend to have problems taking herbs or supplements that increase estrogen. I also would really like my hormones truly balanced. I have some facial hair that has gone from "barely there peach fuzz" to more robust hairs that need to be taken care of (waxing etc.) So I really don't want to make that worse.
Also I tend to have very heavy periods with lots of clotting. I almost hate to leave the house on those days.

I also tend to have hypothyroid symptoms (though I now feel all organ systems work synergistically) and the really worst out of those are feeling cold and tired. I hate being cold!

Maca works splendidly at warming me up and giving me energy.

I was wondering if I would have to endure being cold while giving the Vitex time to work. Today by afternoon I decided to take a 3rd capsule of the Vitex and it finally did seem to warm me up (that's how it seems so far) and I am hoping it continues to do so, but it is good to know that I can combine Maca and Vitex together.

I much prefer getting help from herbs than going to a doctor and either getting no help or end up worse off from some prescription they have given me.

I haven't been to a doctor in years now... Not even for strep throat or a sinus infection. I've always got a box of supplements and teas that help me get better in half the time.
