When we lived in Ohio, my 11 year old sheltie's CATARACTS went away and his eyes were clear and bright again after a few months on an herbal concoction called Hokamix. We did not know about Iodine back then, but one of the ingredients IS kelp.

The vet we had back then (in Ohio) was fascinated and he wanted to know more.
