Apparently it was misinterpretted so I'd like to clarify my comment about moderators being afraid of lawsuits. I wasn't saying "they're afraid of lawsuits, AND RIGHTFULLY SO!".. I was saying that we live in litigious times and that's a good reason to just use a screenname. I know if I had a forum I'd be thinking every 5 seconds, "I wonder if that could get me sued..." For many years, up until January, we in the US have had a Congress controlled by Democrats, and a Democrat prez for 2 years. Some of the biggest contributors to the Dems and some of the biggest power brokers are the trial lawyers and their organizations. Tort reform, shnort reform. Anybody w/ any money at all and anything on the line has to worry about being sued, and there are warning labels on EvErYtHiNg. Can't buy a steak knife w/ out a label reading WARNING: DO NOT SHOVE THIS UP YOUR NOSE! Miserable climate of fear, they've given us.
