Confusing; yess; thats why I started all this supplementation years ago, trying everything ; as the experts opinions and Science are spread all over the place.
I wanted to find out what worked with me.
My two years belief that only natural supplements was the right thing in the world really failed. Then came iodine..

`Hypo swings are rare these days, but the coldness sometimes come for a revisit, even if my body temp is steady as a rock 98,6 in average. I have basically a good energy, but of course some days are lower; it is life.. Before hypo T my life wasnt a straight line either, it always was bumpy somehow.
What I have had a lot of lately are bursts of energy, like I am high on something LOL;
But it is a good high.
