hi my name is laura and towards the end of last year i discovered i am lactose intolerant i havent been tested cos my idiot of a gp claims its a case doing elimonation diet maybe they are right i dont know. i thought i could deal with it but if im honest i cant i HATE having to be different and not being able to eat what i want im sure other people went through this when first diagnosed there are some loverly lacto free foods out there like lacto free milk and cheese its really nice but it affects alot of medication im on too and despite going to my so called gp he doesnt know what to do and has no understanding of it and keeps fobbing me off with any crap. i need medication as i have also been recently been diagnosed with interstitial cystitis or eczema on the bladder as my private consultant calls it i was on medication but it gave me an allergic reaction which is when i realised about the lactose in tabletsmy doctor has no idea what to do and keeps blaming the bloody pharmacist and vice vercer i dont see my private consultant til april so am stuck with nothing thanks to my idiot of a gp. this also gets me down as there are hardly any pain killers out there that are lactose free all i have is liquid paracetamol for kids and liquid nurofen for kids and both are crap i fell over two weeks ago and injured my coccyx i went to the gp to be checked and basically he cant tell the difference between serevere bruising or a cracked bone i also have a flare up of interstitial cystitis and havent slept in days due to the pain all i get told from family is im not taking enough pain killers WHAT BLOODY PAIN KILLERS MOST HAVE LACTOSE IN i dont know what to do any more
