Uny has referred to Think and Grow Rich, by Napolean Hill while counseling others. There are actually many links to free downloads of the book. Here is one link to Think and Grow Rich.Don't get distracted by the site...

A quick review:

It was written by Napolean Hill during the Great Depression. His motivation in writing the book was to help folks who had lost everything during the Depression to get back on their feet. Napolean Hill happened to be friends with Andrew Carnegie (OK Conspiracy Forum friends, hold on to your tinfoil hats here). Carnegie issued Hill a challenge- find out the secrets of America's wealthiest men, write a how-to manual for the average guy, and he would get it published. So Napolean Hill took this on as his life's purpose, wrote the book after years of research, and Carnegie did get the book published.

I used to think this was an occult book. It has been associated with the movie, "The Secret," and a lot of positive thinking/New Age speakers. I finally read it last year, and thought it was super. I can't see why anyone would call this an occult book.

Think and Grow Rich is actually very practical. It describes common characteristics of the most successful men at the time. There all kinds of tips in there... like, learn how to make quick decisions, gather a team of wise counselors around you, pracitce healthy living habits, and protect your good name.

The men descibed in Think and Grow Rich were men of action. They set goals- really big goals, and they didn't stop until they achieved them. I believe this why Uny has it on her Must Read Book List. I'm going to add it to mine.
