very interesting mu-shen, the author is correct about how the modern media presents these events in a very linear fashion, which leads people to think that this is all happening in series, it also, IMO gives the events the appearance of being somewhat orchestrated, or being controlled by some group or persons.

When you do look at these events a little deeper, and into the history of the regimes in the countries that are now experiencing protesting, you can see how vastly different the aims of the protesters are, although the media portrays the aims of all the protesters as being the same. Freedom for the people that are being oppressed, seems to be a common theme, but the interpretations of freedom are different for every country involved.

Hopefully there will be some cohesion after the mess.

The authors view of the changing consciousness in the world today, is one I absolutely agree with.
