I developed horrible acid reflux while on mirena and I had to take medication for that every day, then I started to notice that the medication was no longer working, meaning that I started having a burning sensation in my stomach, severe throat,chest and ear pain like when you have a sore throat or strep throat,my chest pain was more like having a lot of pressure between your breast bone area. I didn't even want to eat because it hurt even more when eating, also was very tired all the time and started losing a lot of weight but I think it was due to not eating enough. I got blood work done and came back positive as well as the stool test.
