I tried this bolus idea today, with 50/50 coconut oil and castor oil. The oil firmed up enough to shape in the refrigerator, but not enough to insert. An hour in the freezer did the trick. Believe it or not, it goes right in, and doesn't feel cold. I'm very sensitive to cold, so I was surprised.
