II was starting the fast for many reasons in the beginning but as I watched a Woman’s Video log of her fast... (did three consecutive fast for 40 days and eating during Passover),her dedication and belief was so moving that I myself also wanted to use this experience not only to lose weight and break my food addictions but to awaken my sprit to things I have never experienced before. I going to buy a bible (always had one when I was younger but they all disappeared over the years) and reread it. I mean there has to be a reason why it's still the bestselling book over written...LOL! But all jokes aside I really am thinking about completing the same mission. I have been struggling with this for awhile and this woman had 8 kids and her belief in god allowed her to believe in the path she was taking without doubt and complete those fasts.
