As far as I know, you only apply the bloodroot once, and then you are done. The eschar will form and come out. You have prolonged the suffering by re-applying. It is very important to keep it moist with vasoline, so the eschar will let go and come out. Otherwise it could harden into place. Vitamin E oil is definitely not thick enough to keep the area coated.

I had to take bloodroot powder internally because the disease came back after the eschar healed. Be sure to do some systemic cleansing.
