This video has been made to sell a product. Yet the information is helpful. I am not recommending the product, only the information (please note, moderators). I suspect the product itself might be too aggressive.

This video describes how hepatic stones are formed, why they form, and what you can do about it. This makes this video relevant to the Liver Flushing community.

My recommendation is to find food that contains the missing nutrients and add them to your diet.

I just found this video, so I don`t have that information yet.

Here`s the video:

Nutrients which keep bile in solution:
amino acids glycine, taurine, and phosphatidylcholine.

Glycine is biosynthesized in the body from the amino acid serine, which is in turn derived from 3-phosphoglycerate. I don`t know what foods would contain it, but suspect the sulfur foods (onion family) might.

It is part of the homocysteine cyle, which makes it part of the methylation cycle which helps to detoxify substances in the liver.
Glycerate 3-phosphate is also a precursor for serine, which, in turn, can create cysteine and glycine through the homocysteine cycle.
There is not much information here, but here`s a link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3-Phosphoglyceric_acid

If the full name is 3-phosphoglycerate phosphatase (or 3-PGA phosphatase), then this is an enzyme rather than an amino acid, and it participates in glycine, serine and threonine metabolism. It is involved in the ATP cycle.
http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/457473/3-phosphoglycerate

It is part of the Calvin Cycle and is involved in amino acid synthesis:

Taurine can be obtained from meat, especially fish.

Phosphatidylcholine comes from the lecithin-containing food group and can be obtained from egg yolks and soybeans:

The presenter says that taking oral nutritional supplements would not be effective because these nutrients are used throughout the body. Thus, it gets used up before it can be used in the liver. In my opinion, if they are used elsewhere, then they are needed, and it would not hurt to increase consumption of these amino acids.

Exposure to toxins in the environment also acts to precipitate bile components into stones. Toxins can be from pollution (environment) or from stress (physiological connection between emotion and physical response). Stress-related toxins are detoxified with the methylation process. That itself is a complex topic, so I`m just mentioning it for now.

Methylation uses the amino acid methionine:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methionine

Nutrients which help in the methylation cycle are vitamins B6, B9, and B12, TMG (trimethylglycine), and cysteine (another amino acid). Foods which help in the methylation process are sulphur-containing foods, such as onions. I would imagine any of the pungent roots and their plant parts would help: onions, garlic, chives.

This is a lot of complex nutritional chemistry to mention - and I`ve just mentioned these elements! But - wouldn`t it be nice to get at the root cause of what is causing hepatic stones so we don`t have to do so many liver flushes?

This is especially important to those whose livers continue to produce stones no matter how many flushes people do, or people like myself who lack a gallbaldder and will likely be doing Liver Flushes for life to maintain our health.

I hope some people comment on this information.
