my husband and i take DE right before bed, 1 -2 heaping tablespoons.

it tends to be more constipating if it's taken within 3 hours of a meal. at least for us. i'm guessing this is because it binds with the food some.

but if your last meal was at least 3 hours before your bedtime, then it might be easier to take it then.

it was also more constipating when we first started taking it, but after a week or two our bodies adjusted.

it has been the most effective worm killer we have taken. we have also tried humaworm and Clarkia . we are waiting for barefoot's dewormer to try that.
then we will make our own mixtures. but we don't plan on stopping the DE. not until this problem is under control.
