It is a bit old thread, nonetheless:
I have a similar problem (low body temperature, especially morning temperature) and in my view it has been due to series of factors, mostly hormonally related:
- excess of reverse T3 (probably stress related)
- excess of inactive form of cortisol
- deficiency of leptin
- inadequate hormonal metatabolites processing thru liver methylation
- most likely stress-induced starvation-metabolism
I have already approached adrenal supplements, thyroid supplements and glandulars, methylation supplements. Nothing really worked so far. I have recently stumbled upon potassium (i was deficient in potassium, this could be also a reflection of a catabolic imbalance in my organism). This seems to have allowed me to normalize blood pressure and gain weight. Started also hypothalamus and pancreas glandulars. Perhaps this will kick-start my body's temperature control.
Best,
Robert
