You are going to gain bit of weight from refeeding you have had no salt and carbs of course you can pick back up 10 pounds or so .She has follow up videos where she is holding months later now at around 120 seems a bit too light for her but not sure how tall she is or what bodyfat she is now at at the 120. BF is more important than bmi which is often way wrong as it really doesn't take into account muscle mass.

It was very interesting videos for sure seeing the changes over 3 ,40 day water fasts.And she did look super thin and like death on the last one.

But seems no permanent harm done.

Also I don't think breaking a fast with a steak like she did is necessarily wrong at all. Think about it. For millions of years man had to starve/fast as there simply was no food around in winter time and he didnt' know how to preserve it ,etc. He went out and hunted his food. And it was usually meat that he eat. So seems to me its pretty natural to eat meat after a fast not fruits and veggies. Sure the fruits and veggies might be easy to digest and many people on these boards have some aversions to meat ,many being vegetarian which is a crime against mans true nature. There is zero wrong with eating meat. Fact all vegetarians need to supplement with at least b12 if they don't eat it. Many people have lived way past 100 eating plenty of meat.
Fact I notice on my long fast that from tiny tastes of things near the end to see what things taste good and what bad some meat seems to be one of the few things that still have any taste. Many foods taste like cardboard to me and my sleeping taste buds.

So again think eating meat in small amounts should be not that bad at all on refeed and we definitely need protein and some fat in our diet at all times and meat is one of the easiest ways to get some not to mention lots of important vitamins and minerals b12 being one of the very important ones.

But sorry not trying to turn this into an omnivore versus vegetarian rant.
Just trying to give my opinion that breaking a fast with some meat is likely not a problem and don't think she had any.

Personally likely be eating some meat within three or four days of my refeed. Will take conventional advice of fruit likely for first day or two, then mabye fruit and veg or salad, then maybe some soup and then lastly some things like stir fry with chicken or beef and gradually over week or so back to normal eating.

But it was very interesting video. And the updates show she has kept her weight around 120 for quite a long time now so would'nt be so quick to judget her after diet or lifestyle.Be interesting to see an update a year or more.
I also think she should likely weigh 130, 140 maybe more but never really saw full body shot or her height and as said bf is better indictaor of proper weight.

Also many women seem to think they need to be very thin but most men I know including myself prefer their women normal, actually high normal or maybe slightly overweight. I don't like thin women at all.
