As a manufacturer of zappers, we warn against the use of zappers on a pregnant person purely for caution against the unknown. There is not any vidence available that zapping could or would harm the fetus but I agree with your statement in regards to not using it when pregnant if only to avoid any unforseen consequences.
You are right, for one time the FDA did something right, re: thalidomide. I wish that wre as responsible in regards to the number one cause of death by liver failure ( acetominophen ) or the number one cause of death by kidney failure ( ibuprophen ).
The effectiveness of a zapper in killing foreign organisms is dependent on many factors but can be documented. Among these factors are signal strength and quality, type of electrodes used, number, size, and placement of electrodes, general conductivity of the various fluids and tissues as well as their location.
