Isn't it quite the leap to say that pancreatic cancer is virally induced?  I don't find that opinion to be prevalent at all among cancer authorities and the links you gave do not indicate that pancreatic cancer is a virally induced cancer, only that there may be some association between certain viruses and pancreatic cancer in some patients.

The first link said the they found the co-existence of TTV and pancreatic cancer in TWO cases and that it bore further investigation.  The other two links merely addressed the issue of increased incidence of cancer for people who had Hep-B and Hep-C.  Since people who have cancer almost always also have damaged livers, that would stand to reason - but does not in my opinion indicate in any way that pancreatic cancer is usually induced by viruses.

As a matter of fact, when you do a Google search for "pancreatic cancer causes", here is what you get in the first page of results:

Not one of those lists viruses among the causes of pancreatic cancer.  John Hopkins, MD Anderson, Mayo - you'd think they would know enough to at least list viruses as one of the possible causes .

While catechins. especially those found in green tea, may have anti-viral properties they also have properties which inhibit the growth of cancer cells as well as prevent the activity of free radicals which cause cellular damage that can lead to cancer.
