 Please accept my most heartfelt an deepest sympathy.  I cannot imagine what you must be going through.  Actually, in recent years, this callousness is very common, I am sorry to say.  I first came across it in 2001 when my dad passed and even with my own mother in 2005.  At first I was shocked.  With my mom I kind of expected it, as I had seen the doctors' reactions to her illness.

No longer is there compassion in the medical profession.  Or let me say, very rarely.  It is a business, a for profit business, and that's all.

I am so very sorry for your experience.  Thank you for sharing it with us.
