You are describing symptoms I've had off and on for a while. My symptoms usually return when I break the candida diet (though my symptoms are much less than before).
My ear problems are most severe on an airplane because I pretty much have to break the candida diet if I want to eat anything and the change in altitude when we land can cause shooting pain in my ears. I find one of those menthol inhalers people use when their noses are stuffed really helps with that symptom for me.
I recommend finding out more about candida (yeast) and heavy metals (especially if you have silver fillings, but you can get heavy metals from other sources). Chelating heavy metals is what has helped me the most with my symptoms, while anti-yeast treatments helped me feel better but didn't provide a lasting cure.
If you're going to take the antibiotic, then I've read it's best to take probiotics after you finish to help keep the good bacteria in your system. I believe it should be used a few days after you finish, otherwise the Antibiotic will kill them too. It would be better not to take the Antibiotics at all, but it depends on the severity of your symptoms.
If you do have a yeast problem, the Antibiotic will help with a symptom, but make other symptoms worse later on.
