I think te extraxt is of really high quality , (from starwest botanical)
I had the same reaction trying some from the herbal store in my down last week just chewing on the root a little bit, so I do not think the herb is the problem.

I think the hypoglycemia is the issue here.

I started bee pollen taking 1/8 a tespoon at noon time with meal and It made me a bit excited to start with (similar symptoms to the licorice but way less severe) and then slowly I was able to take my dose up to 1/2 teaspoon 3 tiems a day and I have absolutely no symptoms.

This hypoglycemia sucks , I seriously hope that my pancreas is not damage frome the year of af/cfs. Pancreas disease is one of the most comon cause of dead among cfs patient.....
